Fred Atlas, Founder
Fred Atlas is the Founder of Atlas Financial Advisory Group, now Retirement Income Source of Sarasota, Florida. For more than two decades, Fred has helped his clients in Southwest Florida better preserve their retirement savings and increase their retirement income.
After working for several major financial companies, Fred chose to become an independent agent so he could offer his clients a full range of investment management, wealth management, and estate planning services.
Fred founded Atlas Financial Advisory Group, Inc. in 2002, and in 2023 he partnered with Micah Keel, Owner and President of Retirement Income Source of Sarasota, Florida.
Fred is an Investment Advisor Representative and licensed insurance professional specializing in retirement income strategies. He also works closely with estate planning attorneys in the area to establish effective investment and wealth management solutions that can help clients avoid unnecessary taxation and possible government intervention through probate.
As an independent financial advisor, Fred has helped hundreds of clients implement income-generating strategies designed to protect their savings from inflation, rising healthcare costs, market volatility and other risks.
Fred and his wife, Amanda, live in Sarasota. Away from work, they like spending time with friends and family and enjoying all the great outdoor activities the Sunshine State provides.
Micah Keel, President
Micah Keel is the President and Owner of Retirement Income Source of Sarasota, Florida. He is a market analyst and independent financial advisor with over 20 years of experience. Micah is an eight-time recipient of the highly coveted and prestigious Five Star Wealth Manager Award, and co-author of “Retirement Thought Leaders: A Modern Guide to Retiring in the New Economy.”
Micah grew up on the Mississippi Gulf Coast and attended the University of Southern Mississippi and the Wharton School of Business. In 2005, he and his wife, Jenny, moved from Louisiana to Sarasota, Florida, after their hometown was destroyed by Hurricane Katrina.
In 2017, Micah and Jenny bought a small farm in Myakka City, Florida. In 2019, they created Pretty Farm Girl, an organic skincare company where they handcraft their best-selling goat milk soap bars.
